Instructions for Contributing to Mum's Surprise Book
We're creating a special book to celebrate Sheryl Madsen (my Mum!) turning 60, filled with memories, stories, and love from the people who know her best. This is a surprise, so please keep it a secret! Every contributor will receive a free copy of the finished book as a thank-you for helping make this gift so special.
What you might share
- •A short story, memory, or reflection
- •A note of what you admire about her
- •Life advice she's given you
- •A funny moment or favourite experience
- •"Three things I'll always remember about you"
Length
- •Aim for 200–400 words (roughly a page on word)
- •Shorter or longer is absolutely fine
- •Don't worry about being a "writer" — heartfelt and genuine is perfect!

Photos (optional)
- •You can include as many photos as you like
- •Please include a caption for each photo
